 Maxine Goulding
Event and Wedding Coordinator
Maxine is the sole proprietor of California Special Occasions in San Jose, California, which specializes in planning, designing, and coordinating social and personal events. She has completed several weddings around the Bay Area as well as destination events, she has coordinated business events for the Greater San José Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, procurement events for the National Association of Women Business Owners – Silicon Valley, volunteers her time and talents to Child Advocates, Latinas Contra Cancer, and the Billy Graham Foundation.
Maxine mixes her organizational skills with enthusiasm to create exciting events. She is personable, intuitive, and positive results oriented. By researching and studying, Maxine is able to better serve her clients. Maxine's experience includes overseeing or direct participation in planning and organizing meetings, personal events, workshops, and various trade show activities.
Maxine has held various positions in several organizations/associations: National Association of Women Business Owners – Silicon Valley (NAWBO-SV): President – 2011-2012, President Elect, VP of Programs, VP of Membership and Corporate Sponsor Director; Focus Group: President 2005–2006; Greater San Jose Hispanic Chamber of Commerce: Membership Director, Secretary and Director of Programs; Greater Hispanic Chambers of Commerce: President 2008 – 2009; Association of Bridal Consultants: Co-director – 2005-Present.
Maxine is also an active member in the following groups: Latina Coalition and the International Hispanic Association of Meeting Professionals.
